B.S. Mountain State University and M.S. West Virginia University.
What are your favorite hobbies?
Playing bluegrass music, competitive volleyball, and spending time with my husband and two boys on our farm.
How did your career path lead you to WVU?
I worked in the oil and gas industry as a safety professional, spending everyday on a drilling rig or hydraulic fracturing site. It was fast paced, stressful and fun all at the same time, but the schedule was intense. I had a friend at WVU Extension Service that told me about an opening in Safety and Heath focusing on the energy industry. Now I get to research and develop training programs for the workforce and serve the oil and gas industry from my position at WVU!
