Tracy Morris, who has served as interim dean of the College of Education and Human Services since 2018, will serve as dean of the college for a two-year term, effective July 1. In addition to her faculty role, Morris also has held several administrative roles at WVU, including department chair, associate dean, and senior advisor in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.
Renee Nicholson, teaching associate professor and coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Studies Program in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences for being both a recipient of 2020 recipients of the Nicholas Evans Faculty Advising Excellence Award and being named the new director of the WVU Humanities Center.
Julie Lockman, associate professor in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, will serve as the new Assistant Vice President for Graduate Education at the WVU Health Sciences Center. Lockman will continue in her role as the HSC Director of Faculty Affairs, Culture and Inclusion.
Aimee Morewood, a professor in the College of Education and Human Services, Literacy Education has been named president-elect of the International Literacy Association's Specialized Literacy Professionals (SLP) special interest group.
Christina Fattore, Associate Professor in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Political Science was named a recipient of the WVU Joyce McConnell Award for Outstanding Feminist Leadership (Faculty).
